2 Techniques: Implants or lipomodelling by fat grafting (fat injection)

IMPLANTS:

2 types of filling implants are possible (the envelope is always a silicone membrane):

• Physiological serum: less and less used because of its less natural appearance
• Cohesive silicone gel no longer exposing to large leaks.

3 types of positioning of the implant in relation to the muscle:

• Under the pectoral muscle (but always partially), to be reserved in preference to very flat breasts.
• Behind the gland (or under the muscular fascia, which is a pre-muscular membrane), the implant is placed in front of the (retroglandular) muscle .
• Combined plane or Dual-Plane (combining several techniques)

3 types of prostheses are usable:

• Round imlant with different projections
• Profiled implant (anatomical, drop, asymmetrical, ...)
• Implant "low profile".

There is no type of implant better than the others, each have their advantages, otherwise all the surgeons would ask the same !!!
The ideal implant  is the one adapted to your anatomy and your desires!

Several approaches are possible: under the areole (1/2 areolar lower), trans-areolar, under mammary, latero-mammary or axillary (see video) according to Dr LEVY’s method "on the beach".
This choice depends on the review and a discussion with the practitioner about the advantages and disadvantages of each technique.
